Head-on crash involving dump truck closes Franklin Boulevard

Franklin Boulevard in Cambridge was closed Tuesday morning due to a head-on crash between a dump truck and an SUV.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m., near the intersection of Franklin and Thomas Street.

Officials say the driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
