Police in Guelph charged seven people and seized more than $200,000 in marijuana, plants and cash after searches at four Guelph homes.

The six men and one woman, all from Guelph and ranging in age from 19 to 56, were arrested on Thursday evening on drug-related offences.

Early Friday morning search warrants were executed at four Guelph addresses, and police seized 20 lbs of marijuana, 112 marijuana plants, ecstasy, cocaine and $31,900 in cash, with a total value of approximately $204,000.

Charges include possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking, production of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Jeffrey Guanzon, 26, Joshua Craine 26, Jaroslaw Korczak, 26, Chin Chhor, 35, Kieu Ly, 25, Darryl Guanzon, 19 and Gerry Guanzon, 56 are scheduled to appear in court Friday.
