A politician with ties to two local communities has died at the age of 64.
Pat Sobeski was the MP for Cambridge, representing the Progressive Conservative Party, from 1988 until 1993.
My thoughts and prayers are with the friends & family of former #Cbridge MP Pat Sobeski – a selfless man who always put his community first.

In 2003, he returned to politics as a city councillor in Woodstock.
Seven years later, he was elected mayor of that city – a position he remained in until 2014.
