Five people have been arrested and charged following a drug bust in the Town of Listowel.

On May 22, 2016 the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Drug Enforcement Unit along with Perth County OPP acted on a warrant at a residence on Livingstone Avenue, in Listowel.

Police seized cocaine, marijuana and cannabis resin.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $3,800.

They also seized property that related to drug trafficking with an estimated value of $2,400.

Three men, 39-year-old, 44-year-old and 36- year-old, from the Municipality of North Perth were charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marihuana, and possession of cannabis resin.

A 39-year old woman from North Perth, and 29-year-old from St. Davids were also charged with the same offences.

The 44-year-old man and 39-year-old woman also faces charges of possession of codeine.
