Police say they’re no longer concerned about a report of a boy being asked if he wanted to go for a ride in Milverton.
The incident was alleged to have happened Saturday on Mill Street East. Perth County OPP said at the time that the boy had refused the offer, after which the vehicle drove away.
An update to the case was issued Thursday, with police saying investigators had found the allegation to be unfounded.
They added that they are no longer concerned about public safety in the area.
