A fake gun was used during a scuffle early Saturday morning in Waterloo, according to police.
Police say at approximately 2:15 a.m., a verbal argument broke out between several men on University Avenue West.
A man brandished a pistol during the altercation, according to police.
Police arrived shortly after and a youth was arrested
According to police the pistol was actually a pellet gun.
The youth has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
There were no injuries.
