Woman charged with impaired driving after three-vehicle collision in Guelph

A woman has been charged with impaired driving after a three-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon.

Guelph police were called to the crash at Victoria Road South and Elizabeth Street around 4:40 p.m.

While speaking to one of the drivers involved, officers said they noticed signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and taken back to the police station where testing revealed she was impaired by drugs.

A 39-year-old Guelph woman has been charged with impaired driving. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
