“The Interview” will in fact be coming to a theatre near you.

Waterloo’s Princess Cinemas tweeted Wednesday that it plans to bring the film to the Princess Twin on Jan. 9.

Starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, the release of “The Interview” was initially cancelled by Sony Pictures following threats from hackers, as well as a cyberattack which American authorities say was orchestrated by North Korea.

Earlier this week, Magic Lantern Theatres and Rainbow Cinemas announced plans to show the movie Friday at 27 of their theatres, including 10 in Ontario.

The film was released online and in some American theatres last week, pulling in more than US$15 million.
