A 41-year-old Kitchener man has not been seen since Thursday night.
After not hearing from Carlos Benavides for over a day, Benavides’ family contacted Waterloo Regional Police on Saturday.
Police have since been searching for Benavides, focusing on an area near Otterbein Road and the Walter Bean Trail.
Benavides is described as Hispanic and 5’10”, with an average build, short black hair and brown eyes.
Family members say he suffers from depression and recently separated from his wife.
“We’re still actively looking to hear from anyone who may have seen him,” says Sgt. Dave Reibel.
