The theft of reclosers from a hydro pole has Wellington County OPP scratching their heads.
OPP say the reclosers, which are a type of circuit breaker, were installed on a pole on Marden Road, just north of Guelph, as part of temporary repairs after the pole was damaged in a storm earlier this month.
Sometime between July 11 and July 15, police say, three reclosers were stolen from the pole.
“These reclosers would serve no purpose and the contents inside would be useless to anyone,” reads an OPP press release.
