CTV News Kitchener Anchor

Contact

Tony Grace anchors CTV News at 6 and CTV News at 11:30 on CTV Kitchener.

He first joined CTV in 2001, and has become a familiar and trusted presence to audiences across Canada.

From his work in our local newsrooms, on Parliament Hill, at CTV National News and CTV News Channel, there’s hardly a story Tony hasn’t brought home to Canadians over the last quarter century.

He’s interviewed Prime Ministers and other notable newsmakers, traveled to the scenes of breaking stories on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border, delivered live hurricane and election coverage, and anchored award-winning local newscasts. He’s thrilled to be back in Waterloo Region, and considers local news a critical public service.

Tony is also a mentor, chairing the Journalism & Communications Advisory Committee at his alma mater Loyalist College, where he graduated with honors.

Gearing down away from the office, Tony is a fitness enthusiast, a proud cat dad, a music buff with an ever-growing vinyl collection, and a lover of all things nostalgic: whether it be classic game shows, old movies, or just the art of conversation among friends with good food and wine.
