A heavy police presence descended on a neighbourhood in Breslau early Wednesday afternoon.

Waterloo Regional Police officers, including a tactical team and a canine unit, were called to a home on Dovercourt Road in the community’s south end.

Police say they spent some time negotiating with a man who was inside the house, before making their way inside the building and bringing the man outside.

No injuries were reported. Police say they continue to investigate.
