An arrest warrant has been issued for a former Grey County church leader accused of physical and sexual assaults.
OPP say Frederick Madison King, 55, hasn’t been seen since allegations against him first came to light in November 2012.
According to police, King was a church leader at the Church of Jesus Christ Restored in Holland Township, south of Chatsworth.
He faces a total of 25 charges, including 10 counts of assault, five counts of uttering death threats, three counts apiece of sexual assault and assault causing bodily harm, two counts of assault with a weapon and one count each of sexual exploitation and sexual interference.
Police describe him as a white man, 178 cm or 5’8” with a heavy build and brown hair.
As part of the same investigation, 59-year-old Judson William King – an Oakville resident and the brother of Frederick King – was arrested and charged with four counts of assault and one count apiece of assault with a weapon and uttering death threats.
Police say some of the charges are for events dating as far back as 1978, and the case has a total of seven victims – all of whom were members of the church.
