Grey County OPP want to hear from the lawful owner of money found in a cemetery near Owen Sound.
According to OPP, the cash was found ‘strewn about’ the Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Grey Road 17A on Christmas Day.
The person who found the cash then picked it up and turned it over to police.
The exact amount of cash found has not been made public, but police are calling it ‘significant.’
Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122, and the rightful owner of the money is asked to visit the OPP detachment in Chatsworth during normal business hours, at which point they will be asked for proof the money is theirs.
