Man dies after swimming accident near Sarnia

SARNIA, Ont. - A 20-year-old man from London, Ont., is dead after a swimming accident on Lake Huron off Port Franks, northeast of Sarnia.

Provincial police say Jason McLeod was swimming with friends in the Bond Road beach area when he ran into trouble.

He was transported to hospital in Strathroy, where he was pronounced dead Sunday night.

An autopsy is expected to be done today in London.
