Windsor police say three people are now charged in connection with a street fight that left a Toronto man dead, and more charges could be laid.
Insp. Bill Donnelly says Dwayne Nicholas Pierce, 22, of Windsor, is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Gautham (Kevin) Kugathasan.
Five other people were wounded in the street fight that took place in downtown Windsor on Saturday between two groups of men.
Also charged in connection with the case are Abdul Al-Bousaleh, 23, who faces aggravated assault and weapons charges, and Ali Mahmoud Ahmed, 30, who's charged with possession of a weapon.
Donnelly says police have received a lot of co-operation from the public so far and he's asking any one else with information to come forward.
Kugathasan was in Windsor attending university.
