Man charged with impaired driving after driving himself to the police station

A man from North Perth has been charged after he drove to a police station to report a dispute.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the 40-year-old man drove to the North Perth OPP detachment on Sunday just before 6:30 a.m. He said he wanted to speak to an officer about a dispute.

However, during the investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with operation while impaired.

His licence has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
