GlobalMedic, a Canadian charity, has sent a team to St. Maarten to help people affected by Irma.
The team arrived on Sunday to hand out water purification and hygiene kits.

Among them is a member from Waterloo’s Aeryon Labs Inc., a company that uses small Unmanned Aircraft Systems for aerial intelligence and support services for military, public safety and energy customers.
They will be using a drone to look at the landscape from above to help with recovery efforts.
