Just after midnight last night, crews from Linwood, St. Clement's and Wellesley were called to N-M Manufacturing on Ayrshire Line in Wellesley.

One building was fully engulfed before firefighters were able to contain the blaze in two structures.

Residents from a house nearby along with two horses in a stable were evacuated.

No one was hurt and police say the cause is still unknown.

"At this point, we're estimating the damage could be as much as $200,000" says Fire Chief Andrew Lillico. "We will be conducting an investigation to determine the cause."

Also last night, a house on River Road in Kitchener also caught fire after police say an electrical wire shorted out.

The house was fully consumed by the flames and damage is estimated to be $100,000.

There was no one home at the time, but two dogs were caught inside before being rescued.
