TORONTO -- Justin Bieber has made Adele's smash "Hello" say goodbye to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Stratford, Ont., native's hit "Sorry" has jumped to the top spot, bumping "Hello" down one notch.

"Sorry," from the album "Purpose," was No. 2 for seven consecutive weeks and eight in total.

Canadian artists continue to dominate the top 10 slots on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber also holds down the third spot with "Love Yourself," Drake's "Hotline Bling" is in fourth, Shawn Mendes is seventh with "Stitches," Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" is eighth, and "Here" by Alessia Cara is ninth.
