Tense moments around St. Aloysius Catholic School Friday morning.
The school was under a hold and secure for about an hour after police say there were reports of someone with a gun in the area.
“Apparently someone thought they saw a person on Greenfield. What they thought was in his hand was a gun, pointing at a post or a tree and police had been called,” Dorthy Furay, a crossing guard at the school said.
The area was cleared and the hold and secure was lifted around 9:15 a.m.
