A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a vicious midday attack in north Kitchener, Waterloo Regional Police say.
Last Friday, a 23-year-old man was assaulted in the area of Lancaster and Arnold streets.
He was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital with serious injuries.
As of Monday morning, he remained in hospital.
The alleged assaulter, who police say has no fixed address, was arrested Saturday night. He faces one charge of aggravated assault.
Police say the incident was not a random act.
