The trial of Jeremy Glenfield on charges including dangerous driving causing death continued Tuesday.
Glenfield is charged in connection with the crash that killed 11-year-old Jeremy Huber just days before Christmas in 2011.
Tuesday’s proceedings included testimony from Wilhelm and Annie Klassen, a husband and wife who live near the corner of Nafziger and Gerber roads in Wellesley Township, where the crash occurred.
The Klassens testified that they were approached by Glenfield for help in the moments following the crash.
Separately, they each said that Glenfield – who also faces charges of impaired driving and failure to provide a breath sample – smelled of alcohol at the time.
The trial continues Wednesday.
