TORONTO -- Environment Canada will send out damage survey teams this morning to check on potential tornado strikes in Ontario.

They will check three locations where tornadoes may have hit, near Carnarvon east of Bracebridge, near Orillia and near Arthur west of Orangeville.

Funnel clouds were spawned by a line of severe thunderstorms that developed late Wednesday and tracked across eastern Ontario.

Environment Canada says a few thunderstorms most likely produced tornadoes based on available photos and videos.

Numerous tornado warnings were posted across much of central and eastern Ontario, but all were cancelled late Wednesday night.

There are no reports of major damage.
