Incumbent: Ernie Hardeman (Progressive Conservative, first elected in 1995)

No first-time-eligible voters in Oxford have ever lived under an MPP other than Ernie Hardeman, and neither have some second-time-eligible voters. The riding typically went to the Progressive Conservatives prior to Hardeman's firs telection, although it was part of the NDP victory in 1990 and the Liberal sweep in 1987.
