Incumbent: Michael Harris (Independent, first elected in 2011)

One way or another, change is coming to Kitchener-Conestoga. The riding's boundaries have shifted since 2014, removing a large portion of Kitchener's south end, while current MPP Michael Harris was expelled by his party's caucus. Mike Harris Jr., the son of former premier Mike Harris, was appointed to run in his place.
