Kitchener Centre Election 2018

Kitchener Centre map

Incumbent: Daiene Vernile (Liberal, first elected in 2014)

Kitchener Centre is considered one of Ontario's most reliable bellwether ridings. In every election since the riding's creation in 1999, the voters of Kitchener Centre have elected a candidate representing the party that formed the government following that election. Pre-1999, when the riding was known as Kitchener, its streak of voting the same way as the province at large dates back to 1987.

Candidates:

Chris Carr (None of the Above Direct Democracy)

Stacey Danckert (Green)

Jason Erb (Libertarian)

Laura Mae Lindo (NDP)

Martin Suter (Communist)

Mary Henein Thorn (Progressive Conservative)

Daiene Vernile (Liberal)
