Driver hit in head with pellet from pellet gun

A man was hit in the head with a pellet while driving along a road in Waterloo, police say.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the man was driving on Union Street around 10 p.m. Monday when he was hit.

He then drove to a nearby parking lot to call 911.

A police search of the area failed to turn up the shooter or the pellet gun.

The driver was not seriously hurt, police said.
