A church in downtown Kitchener said goodbye to its leader on Sunday.
The Reverend Canon Christopher Pratt is retiring from St. John the Evangelist.
He led his final service this morning after eleven years at the church.
In that time the congregation has been given awards by the Region of Waterloo for its work to promote art as well as the environment.
Canon Pratt says he will continue to be involved in Ministry Work in the region, including St. John Ambulance and as a padre for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #50.
