Investigators are looking for a connection between two car fires and a series of suspected arsons in Six Nations.

Crews were called to 3621 Fifth Line Road around 9:28 p.m. Sunday after they received a report of a car on fire.

A second car was set on fire around 4:45 p.m.  across from 2108 Second Line Road.

Both fires were put out before they could spread to nearby buildings.

There’s been a series of suspicious fires in the community since the start of the year.

A joint serial arson investigation was launched in June.

They’re looking into more than a dozen incidents in Six Nations.

Since the start of the year, eight people have been injured and over 20 firefighters have been treated for fire-related injuries.
