One person is dead following a serious collision between a dump truck and a car outside the community of West Montrose, east of Elmira.
Emergency responders were called to the crash site, near the intersection of Northfield Road and Line 86, around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the driver of the car, a 23-year-old Elora man, lost control, crossed the centre line and was struck by the dump truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
