One person is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 401 near Ingersoll.
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, and left all eastbound lanes of the highway closed at Culloden Road until around 10:30 a.m.
Oxford County OPP say a passenger vehicle hit the back of a transport truck as the truck moved onto the highway from the Culloden on-ramp.
As a result, the passenger vehicle ended up in the centre median.
Its driver was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Police say they continue to investigate the collision.
