A terrific season is over for the WIlmot Wild in Junior C lacrosse after falling at home 15-5 on Thursday night. Wilmot is swept in 3 straight games in their best of five series against the Six Nations Warriors.
Brad Bauman led the way offensively for the Wild in Game 3 scoring 2 goals in the loss. Wesley Whitlow delivered a big game for Six Nations scoring 4 goals. The Warriors now advance to the 3rd round of the playoffs.
In other action, the Fergus Thistles stayed alive beating Oakville 7-6. Fergus is still down 2 games to 1 in the series. Game 4 is on Saturday night in Oakville.
