The city of Waterloo is proposing roundabouts at Monday night's council meeting but many residents feel the traffic circles do more harm than good.

Council will be addressing the controversy as they debate the future of Lake Louise Boulevard.

In 2006, the city identified speeding as an issue on Lake Louise Boulevard. Several residents say they are frustrated the city is only offering one plan that includes three roundabouts and two speed bumps.

Residents have suggested more stop signs, four-way stops, or perhaps even more speed bumps as an alternative.
