Teenage woman assaulted on street in Waterloo

An assault in Waterloo on Thursday night has regional police asking for the public’s help.
Officials say a 19-year-old woman was attacked by an unknown man at around 9:30 p.m. on Albert Street between Columbia Street West and Parkside Drive.
The victim managed to escape with no injuries.
Police describe the suspect as tanned, with salt and pepper hair. He’s between 30 and 40 years old, with a medium built.
Officials are reminding people to take extra precautions when walking at night.
They’re also asking anyone with information to call police, or Crime Stoppers.
