A small plane crashed at the Rainbow Ridge Resort near Grand Valley, north of Belwood, early Friday afternoon.
According to Dufferin County OPP, the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. and resulted in some power lines being pulled down.
Aboard the plane were a father and daughter bound for Ottawa. They had taken off from Grand Valley just moments before.
OPP say mechanical problems forced the plane down, narrowly missing a trailer as it crashed.
Both the father and the daughter were examined by paramedics, but did not require hospital treatment.
