One person was seriously injured following a head-on collision on Highway 7 east of Kitchener.
The crash was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the intersection of Highway 7 and Kramp Road, just east of Shantz Station Road.
It involved a commercial truck and a pickup truck.
A spokesperson for Ornge said that an air ambulance was called in to take a man in his 40s, said to be in critical condition, to a Hamilton hospital.
The air ambulance was later called off, and the man was said to be in hospital with serious injuries.
As of 5:30 p.m., Highway 7 remained closed in both directions around Shantz Station.
