In an effort to jog the memories of the public, Brantford Police have released more details about the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl earlier this month.
Last Thursday, the girl was grabbed by a man, forcibly walked to a park and sexually assaulted after walking into her backyard.
It’s believed the attack occurred sometime between 12:45 a.m. and 1:25 a.m., but police say they have yet to hear from anyone who witnessed the events.
New information released by police Wednesday is that the girl was allegedly walked behind the plaza located at the corner of North Park Street and Hayhurst Drive, then across Fairview and the North Park Collegiate grounds, stopping at St. Patrick School, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard.
He was wearing a black hoodie with a zipped pocket and black Adidas pants.
Police also want to hear from anyone who may have seen the victim, who was wearing grey Roots-brand track pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
