Wellington County OPP responded to a call about a fire at a vacant cabin that was discovered on Thursday.
The property owner arrived to find a fire had completely destroyed the cabin.
The fire had already burned itself out by the time the owner arrived.
The property sits about one kilometer from the roadway near Wellington County Road 29 and Barden Street in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police say the fire is believed to have taken place sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 17.
Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department also attended the scene but they have not determined the cause of the blaze.
OPP are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
