A New Hamburg-based auto parts manufacturer is getting a big injection of cash from the provincial government.
Ontario Drive & Gear will receive $1.5 million from the province over four years.
The money will be used to purchase new equipment, in turn adding 35 jobs to Ontario Drive & Gear’s current staff complement of 117.
“We are committed to using all the tools available … so we manufacture industry-leading products that answer the challenges of the market place and in doing so, create new wealth and contribute to Ontario’s economy,” company president Joel Wright said in a press release.
The $1.5 million was allocated through the province’s development fund for southwestern Ontario.
