A motorcyclist has died from his injuries from a collision in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Ontario Provincial Police say the motorcycle was following two cars and collided with the first after he pulled out to make a left-hand turn on Township Road 1.

The incident happened on Wellington County Road 124, Saturday morning just after 9:00 a.m.

The male driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car was not injured.

Investigators are not releasing the name of the motorcyclist until they notify family.

OPP say Wellington County Road 124 is closed between County Road 32 and Kossuth Road until 2:00 p.m. for their investigation.
