A man has facing a number of charges after LRT workers in Kitchener were assaulted.
Around 5:00 Monday afternoon Waterloo Regional police responded to the area of King & Francis in Kitchener after receiving reports of a man yelling at LRT workers and waving a knife. By the time police arrived at the scene, a rock was thrown at one of the workers, breaking the window of a backhoe.
Police located a man in the area with a knife visible in his backpack. The 35-year-old male is facing charges of weapons dangerous, two counts of assault with a weapon, and mischief under $5,000
