The two people killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the 401 in Port Hope have now been identified.

Ontario Provincial Police said Michael Glazier, 35, of Guelph and 26-year-old Todd Gardiner from Newcastle were in the pickup truck at the time of the collision.

A tractor trailer slammed into two cars, crushing both.

A fire erupted as a result of the collision.

Police said two other drivers involved in the collision were transported to hospital with non, life-threatening injuries.
