Five people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Puslinch Township.

It’s believed the crash occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Watson and Maltby roads, south of Guelph.

According to Wellington County OPP, a Dodge Caravan and Mazda 3 were involved in the collision.

While it’s not clear exactly what caused the crash, people from both vehicles were injured.

The driver of the Mazda was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital in critical condition.

Three passengers in the Dodge received minor injuries, while the driver was taken to hospital for injuries also described as minor.

Maltby and Watson remained closed for investigation until shortly after 4 p.m.
