Police in Brantford are searching for a man in a black winter coat who allegedly perpetrated an armed robbery.
The robbery was reported around 9:30 p.m., at the Shoppers Drug Mart on King George Road.
According to police, the man pulled out a knife and demanded drugs, then was taken to the back of the store where he “helped himself to a large quantity of narcotics.”
The man is described as being between 5’8” and six feet tall and likely in his 20s. Police say he was wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans and black gloves, and was last seen leaving the store on foot.
Police dogs were able to track the man’s movements to a certain point, police say, but in the end the track ran cold.
