A woman driving into Stratford ended up being pulled over by police and getting her driver’s licence suspended.

Stratford Police say the woman’s minivan was pulled over on Monday, by an officer who was doing traffic enforcement work on Erie Street north of Lorne Avenue.

According to police, the northbound minivan was registered at 116 km/h. The speed limit on that stretch of Erie is 50 km/h.

A 47-year-old woman from Sarnia is now charged with stunt driving. As is automatic when that charge is laid, her vehicle was seized and her driver’s licence suspended for seven days.
