One person received minor injuries  after a red Nissan hit a bus in Guelph.

The car, travelling south on Norfolk Street  allegedly struck the east bound Guelph Transit bus around mid-day Sunday.

A 90-year-old passenger in the Nissan was treated at  Guelph General Hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the Nissan and the four passengers on the bus were not injured.

Damage to the vehicles is estimated at twelve $12,000.

The diver of the Nissan, a  69-year-old Guelph Man has been charged with failing to stop at a red light.
