Brantford police say they broke up a massive house party on Saturday that had over 200 youths in attendance.

According to a police release, officers were called to the area of Woodway Trail around 6:30 p.m., after numerous complaints from residents about loud music, urinating in public and swearing.

Police arrived and found about 200 people in the backyard.

The party was advertised on social media, according to police.

Additional complaints were called in from residents regarding intoxication and loitering in the area, as partygoers filled nearby streets after leaving the initial home.

Two people from the Woodway Trail home were charged with mischief by interfering with any persons’ lawful use and enjoyment of their property.
