WATERLOO, Ont. -- Tracey Weiler will be representing the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party in their bid to hold on to Elizabeth Witmer's former seat.
Members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario PC Riding Association made the decision at a meeting Wednesday night.
Weiler's name will be on the ballot in the Kitchener-Waterloo byelection, which has yet to be called.
Weiler is an instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University's MBA program. She has also worked for RIM and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Weiler topped Don Kaluzny, a consulting engineer, and City of Waterloo Councillor Angela Vieth, for the nomination.
Premier Dalton McGuinty has until the end of October to call the byelection.
