Highway 402 between Wonderland Road and the 401 is expected to re-open Monday evening after being closed for most of the day due to a fatal crash.
Police say a transport truck carrying ethanol and diesel fuel hit the median and rolled over around 7:30 a.m.
The driver was ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He’s now been identified as 28-year-old Jagjit Singh Deol from Brampton.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police say both fuel tanks on the truck were ruptured. The highway was closed for most of Monday for the extensive cleanup.
